Here at Ashley's we've developed a Flavor Rating to ease your exploration into our beer list. The rating number does not imply a quality rating of the beers listed. The scale goes from a 0-9.
A 0 beer has little or no flavor, very light body, no hop bitterness and no aftertaste. For example, Ice beers are a 0.
A 9 is a very full bodied beer, very strong flavors (from hops or other additives), and a long, lingering finish. Barley wines are an example of a 9.
Most English ales are a 4, medium body, some hop bitterness, etc.

How to Use the Flavor Rating
We recommend that you try to find a beer that you have had before, find its rating, and then work your way up to the flavor rating only 1 or 2 points at a time. If your favorite beer is Miller Lite don't jump to a Scotch Ale (6-7). If you would like a small taste of any of the draft beers before you order please ask your waitperson or you might like to try our draft beer sampler. We hope our rating system helps guide you through the world of beers!

What is a Multi-tap?
At Ashley's it is not just the number of tap beers that we carry but the variety of styles and the hard to find products that we carry. Whether it is the 20 taps at our Westland or Woodhaven locations or the 70 drafts available at our original Ann Arbor location, Ashley's is Michigan's Premier Multi-tap.
